Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the way we interact with technology. Microsoft has integrated AI-powered guides into popular products like GitHub, Microsoft 365, Bing, Edge, and Windows. This integration allows users to ask for assistance or perform tasks using natural language queries.
What is Microsoft Copilot?
Microsoft Copilot is an AI assistant developed by Microsoft. It works with Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Edge, Bing, and other Microsoft programs. Copilot provides AI-powered help throughout the user’s work process. It is especially useful in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Copilot incorporates web context, intelligence, work data, and computer information to deliver support while maintaining privacy and security. It offers a streamlined and intuitive user experience and can be accessed through app form or a right-click. Microsoft plans to expand Copilot’s features and integrate it with more commonly used apps for a unified experience across devices and platforms.
With Copilot, users can search and make online purchases faster using Bing or Edge. Bing provides specific suggestions based on a series of questions about a product. Edge customers have received over $4 billion in discounts in the past year. Soon, users will also be able to initiate purchases using images they’ve taken or saved.
Microsoft Copilot’s price varies depending on the program it’s added to. Enterprise users can purchase Microsoft 365 Copilot for $30 per user per month, equivalent to the most expensive Microsoft Office 365 E5 corporate subscription. It offers numerous benefits such as increased productivity, reduced mental stress, and simplified problem-solving. Copilot is easily accessible through the taskbar or Win+C keyboard shortcut on any device.
Microsoft also offers release previews of Copilot for Bing, Edge, and Microsoft 365. These previews were made available as of September 26 through a free update to Windows 11. Additionally, Microsoft has introduced innovative experiences and gadgets designed to enhance productivity, inspire creativity, and meet the day-to-day needs of individuals and organizations.
