The OpenAI Board of Directors has completed a review conducted by WilmerHale, expressing full confidence in Mr. Sam Altman and Mr. Greg Brockman’s leadership. The Board has unanimously concluded that Sam and Greg are the right leaders for OpenAI.
Three new Board members have been elected to help with OpenAI’s expansion: Dr. Sue Desmond-Hellmann, Nicole Seligman, and Fidji Simo. They bring experience in leading global organizations and navigating complex regulatory environments.
The Board has also made important improvements to OpenAI’s governance structure, including adopting new corporate governance guidelines, strengthening the Conflict of Interest Policy, creating a whistleblower hotline, and adding new Board committees.
