Introducing Batch Calibration: Tackling Prompt Brittleness and Bias in Large Language Models

Large language models (LLMs) have become powerful tools for natural language understanding and image classification tasks. However, there are challenges associated with these models, such as prompt brittleness and biases in the input. These biases can arise from formatting, choice of verbalizers, and the examples used for in-context learning. To tackle these challenges, a team of Google researchers has developed a new approach called Batch Calibration (BC).
